Third-Party Integrations & Liability Policy

Introduction

Binge Island offers website design and development services that may include integrations with third-party tools, plugins, and services. This policy outlines our role in implementing these integrations and the limits of our liability regarding third-party services.

Use of Third-Party Integrations

Common Third-Party Integrations

We may integrate websites with third-party services such as:

  • Payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel)
  • Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
  • E-commerce solutions (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify)
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Booking and scheduling tools

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid accounts and necessary licenses for any third-party services used.
  • Clients must provide access credentials or API keys where required.
  • Any additional costs for third-party services (e.g., subscription fees) must be covered by the client.

Binge Island’s Role & Limitations

Implementation Only

  • Binge Island assists in integrating third-party services but does not own, manage, or provide support for them.
  • We ensure integrations function correctly at the time of setup but do not guarantee ongoing compatibility if the third party makes updates or changes.

No Liability for Third-Party Issues

  • Binge Island is not responsible for downtime, malfunctions, or security breaches related to third-party services.
  • Any issues arising from a third-party service must be addressed with the respective provider.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • If a third-party integration requires updates, troubleshooting, or reconfiguration after project completion, this may incur additional charges.
  • Clients can opt for a maintenance plan to ensure continued support for integrations.

Security & Compliance

  • Binge Island ensures that third-party services are integrated securely based on industry best practices.
  • Clients must review and comply with the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party services used on their website.
  • Binge Island is not responsible for legal or regulatory compliance related to third-party services (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, DPA).
