Introduction
Binge Island is committed to delivering high-quality website design and development services while ensuring fair and reasonable use of our time, resources, and expertise. This Fair Use Policy outlines the expectations and limits regarding our services to ensure a smooth working relationship for all clients.
Reasonable Use of Services
Our services are provided within the scope defined in each project agreement. To ensure fairness, we establish the following guidelines:
Website Revisions & Changes
- Each project includes a set number of revision rounds as specified in the project agreement.
- Excessive or continuous revision requests beyond the agreed limit may require additional charges.
- Major scope changes after approval of the design or development phase will be treated as new requests and may be subject to additional costs.
Response Times & Support Requests
- Binge Island operates Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST, and responds to inquiries within reasonable timeframes.
- Support requests for website updates are typically completed within 24-48 hours, depending on complexity.
- Unreasonable or excessive support requests outside of agreed maintenance plans may require additional charges.
Content & Asset Submission
- Clients are expected to provide all required content, images, and assets within the agreed timeline to avoid project delays.
- If content is not provided on time, the project timeline may be extended, and additional fees may apply for prolonged inactivity.
Use of Third-Party Resources
- Clients must adhere to all licensing requirements for third-party assets, including stock images, fonts, and plugins.
- Binge Island does not provide unlimited access to premium resources unless explicitly stated in the project scope.
Unfair or Excessive Use
Binge Island reserves the right to refuse service or apply additional fees if a client’s usage of our services is deemed excessive or unfair. This includes but is not limited to:
- Repeatedly requesting major changes beyond the agreed scope.
- Demanding unreasonable turnaround times outside of agreed service levels.
- Failing to communicate or provide necessary approvals, causing project delays.
- Submitting large volumes of support requests outside of an active maintenance agreement.
Fair Use for Retainer & Maintenance Clients
For clients on a retainer or website maintenance plan, fair use limits apply based on the agreed number of support hours or updates per month. Any work exceeding the allocated time may require an additional agreement or separate billing.

If a client has concerns about fair use or believes additional support is needed, they should contact us via our contact form to discuss options.
