How Are Payment Plans Structured for Website Projects?

At Binge Island, we offer flexible payment plans to make it easier for clients to invest in their website projects. Our structured approach ensures a smooth process while keeping projects on track.

Standard Payment Structure

We typically follow a three-part payment structure for most website projects:

1. Initial Deposit (50%) – Required to Start

  • A 50% upfront deposit is required before any work begins.
  • This confirms your commitment and allows us to allocate resources to your project.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit card) or bank transfer (details provided upon engagement).

2. Progress Payment (30%) – Before Development Begins

  • Once the design phase is approved, a 30% payment is due before we proceed with development.
  • This ensures we can dedicate the necessary time and tools to building your site.

3. Final Payment (20%) – Before Launch

  • The remaining 20% balance is due before the website is launched or handed over.
  • Once the final payment is received, we provide full access to your website, along with any training and documentation.

Alternative Payment Options

For larger or more complex projects, we may offer custom payment plans, such as:

  • Monthly instalments (available for projects exceeding a certain budget).
  • Milestone-based payments (structured around key project phases).

If you need a different payment structure, let us know before the project begins, and we’ll discuss available options.

Late Payments & Project Delays

  • Work will not proceed beyond each payment milestone until the required payment is received.
  • Late payments may result in project delays and rescheduling based on our availability.
  • If a payment is more than 14 days overdue, the project may be paused or cancelled, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
