At Binge Island, we understand that financial situations can change, and you may need flexibility with your payment schedule. While our standard payment structure is designed to ensure smooth project execution, we do allow for limited adjustments under specific circumstances.
Are Payment Schedule Adjustments Allowed?
Once the contract is signed, the agreed payment schedule is binding. However, we may consider adjustments on a case-by-case basis. Requests for changes must be:
- Made in advance—before the next scheduled payment is due.
- Reasonable—major changes or indefinite postponements are unlikely to be approved.
- Formalised in writing—we require an official request to ensure both parties agree on the new terms.
What Types of Adjustments Are Possible?
- Payment Deferrals: We may offer a short extension for an upcoming payment if requested early.
- Smaller Installments: In some cases, we may allow a larger payment to be broken into smaller, more manageable amounts.
- Revised Due Dates: If you need more time, we may agree to a revised timeline, but this could delay project progress.
What Happens If an Adjustment Is Not Possible?
- If we cannot approve your request, the original payment terms will remain in effect.
- Failure to make payments on time could result in project delays, suspension, or cancellation as outlined in our What Happens If I Don’t Make My Payment on Time? policy.
How to Request a Payment Schedule Adjustment
If you need to adjust your payment schedule, follow these steps:
- Submit a request via our contact form as soon as possible.
- Explain the reason for the adjustment and propose a revised payment schedule.
- Wait for our response—we will review your request and confirm if an adjustment is possible.
Important Considerations
- Scope & Timeline Impact: Adjusting the payment schedule may delay project milestones or final delivery.
- Additional Fees: If an extended payment plan is required, an administrative fee may apply.
- Limited Flexibility: We can only accommodate a small number of adjustments per project.
